Summer 2005, what an amazing summer. After the team was selected
in June, we trained our butts off till late July. Too get acclimated to the prairies we spent 10 days in Alberta. We stayed
at a girl guide camp in beautiful Cochrane, Alberta for the first 5 days. We trained at a great facility once or twice a day,
but also did the tourist thing. We went to Red Deer to see the FISU men's team play an exhibition game, took a trip to Lake
Louise, and did some shopping in Calgary. For the weekend we moved into residence at U of Calgary and played in a tournament
against other provincial teams. We didn't play awesome, but we beat Ontario in 5 which was the highlight of the trip. After
we got home from Berta, we trained for about a week, than took off for Canada Games in Regina, Saskatchewan. The results are
just below this paragraph. The 4 years were worth it. The hours in the gym were worth it. An amazing experience with an amazing
group of people.

From 2002-2004 I have been an assistant coach with Volleyball Nova
Scotia provincial teams; one year with the 16 and under team, and the past two with the 18 and under team. The summer of 2004
we traveled to Winnipeg for a week to train, prior to moving on to Saskatoon for the National Team Challenge Cup. These are
all photos from the trip.
